"no.14 is a transposition of reality that investigates sound in resonance terms and power. A non-written long-form piece presented as a single, no.14 is an extemporary impromptu based on the same creative approach of 610's compositions: no.6 and no.10 that reveal Paolo Calabrese interested in sound modeling through instincts able to highlight the emotional relationships, eliminating purely technical/associative points of reference.

This work is a direct transposition of what I was experiencing at the moment of composition, based on the experience that sound gave me. A near-immediate compositional practice led me to focus on the power that sound has and not on traditional harmony and its technicalities.“ Paolo Calabrese
